All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Sponsors are needed to help with vet care expenses as well as food, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. Monetary donations may be sent via http://paypal.com to donations@alspca.org. Alfred’s estimated age is to be 12+, leaning heavily on the plus. He’s arthritic, heartworm positive, fluid on his knees that will need to be drained and old as dirt. At this time we aren’t even sure if he will be able to withstand heartworm treatment or get adopted due to his age. Currently he is perfect where he is at but he will need care for whatever days he has left. Alfred will need monthly supplies from the vet ranging from joint supplements to steroids; he will also have to remain on flea control year round due to his severe allergies. Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
