UPDATE 12/2016:

Annalise, also known as Sweetie Pie is back with Alabama SPCA due to her family losing their home. Since the new name is familiar to her, we will continue to call her Sweetie Pie.

She's back and more awesome than ever! Now around 6 years old, Sweetie Pie is one amazing companion. She is completely house trained, great with other dogs, loves all people (children included). Sweetie Pie sits and shakes on command...sometimes she'll even "speak!" She's just a really easy dog. She loves to go outside and walk, do her business, etc., but then she's ready to come back in and lie at your feet or snuggle on the couch. She is very quiet, rarely ever barks.

We will be taking Sweetie Pie to the vet in the next few days to get her annual exam and vaccines. She is up to date of heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.

Contact us today if you are interested in this precious girl!

Background from 2012:

Annalise was a stray in Greensboro, AL. The vet believes Annalise is around 2 yrs old, despite the wear on her front teeth which the vet believes is from eating rocks. She was found after being hit by a car. Luckily she was rushed to the vet where they began treatment for her wounds. When no one came back to claim her, Annalise was facing euthanasia. Both legs were fractured and Annalise desperately needed surgery.

Annalise has a splint on the back left leg that's healing from a fracture. Annalisa had FHO surgery on her other back leg. Amazingly, this girl is great. She gets around great, is completely house trained and really doesn't even need a crate to rest. Annalise is such a great dog and we  are excited to help her find her forever home!

Annalise has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and up to date on prevention.
