All of our adoptable animals are in the care of volunteer foster parents. The foster families provide a safe place for the animal until placement. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please email us info@alabamaspca.org.

Can't Adopt or Foster? Maybe you'd like to provide sponsorship for an animal. Meet Miss Fergie Ferg! This black and white beauty is a ball full fun. Fergie absolutely adores long walks, lapping up all of your love and a good game of fetch. Fergie is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She is great with other dogs her size or bigger and she has yet to met a cat. Although she may look large Fergie weighs in at a petite 45 pounds.Contrary to her pictures, she does have manners and keeps her tongue in her mouth most of the time. Her ideal home would be one with a fenced in yard, humans or other dogs to play with and someone who can take her swimming. Fergie loves to meet new people and new dogs. Our Adoption Fee is $125, unless otherwise noted, and goes towards the vet expenses for the animals in our care. Included in the adoption contribution is spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip.
